“Roshni” which means a ray of light, is the name of three children projects at Ekpere village, Purba Bardhaman. Asansol Burdwan Seva Kendra has inventiveness for the most vulnerable section of the society, i.e. children. We have taken a step ahead for achieve our vision of enabling and empowering the marginalized section. 

Our one of the three gems, SAA has already started functioning in the year 2020. The other two projects are- a Shelter Home for Boys and a Shelter Home for differently abled children.

 Roshni is not just a name but truly ‘a ray of hope’ for those children who do not have a place to call it home.

The project ROSHNI consists of: 

• Specialized Adoption Agency (SAA) 
• Shelter Home for Boys (who are in need of care and protection) 
• Shelter Home for Differently– Abled Children 
• Volunteers House 
• Domestic Quarters 
• Children’s Park 
• Play Ground
